Help with accessing PDF documents
This page tells you how you can view the PDF documents on UK Export Finance's website.
On this page:
You will need a PDF reader to view PDF documents. All the PDF documents on our website open in a new window.
Adobe reader
Adobe Reader is a software program that is available to download for free from the Adobe website and allows you to read and print Portable Document Format (PDF) files.
We try to make PDF files on our site accessible to screen readers but as yet cannot guarantee that all content of every PDF online is accessible. If you are unable to read a document hosted on the site, please contact the web team, using the link on the right hand side of the page, and we will try to supply a plain text version.
Alternatively, you can use the Adobe's online PDF conversion tool.
Adobe PDF conversion tool
The Adobe PDF conversion tool will provide a conversion to web or text format. Adobe will convert the document immediately if you upload the file via the form provided on their website or you can send it to them as an email attachment.
If you prefer to use your screen reader with a browser you could have the document converted to either web or text format. If you wish to use your screen reader with word processing software such as Microsoft Word or Notepad you will need a text version of the document.
Go to the Adobe accessibility resource center, which you can find on the right hand side of this page for further information on Adobe products and accessibility.
Go to The Royal National Institute of Blind People website, which you can find on the right hand side of this page, for a useful guide about accessing PDF documents if you are a screen reader user.
