John Newgas

This page gives the biography of John Newgas, who is a member of the Export Guarantee Advisory Council (EGAC) which advises UK Export Finance.

John Newgas joined the council in April 2009.

John Newgas is a consultant for the Sagwen Computer Consultancy. He has over twenty years in the manufacturing industry.

As managing director of Albion Manufacturing Ltd, he was directly involved in the import of raw materials and the export of finished products in the packaging and textile sectors, where he developed markets in Europe, Middle East and Far East.

Before this, John was chief executive officer of the Portuguese Chamber of Commerce in the UK for three years.
