Alexandra Elson

This page gives the biography of Alexandra Elson, who is a member of the Export Guarantee Advisory Council (EGAC), which advises UK Export Finance.

Alexandra Elson joined the council in July 2011.

Alexandra is CO2 Policy Manager at Shell. Before joining Shell, she was natural resources adviser at the Department for International Development, engaged in long- and short-term assignments in South and South-East Asia, sub-Saharan Africa and the Caribbean. In an independent capacity she has worked for the United Nations Development Programme, United Nations Environment Programme, World Bank, European Commission and bilateral European overseas development agencies.
